5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, we process personal information as necessary to perform a contract with you; based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Services; to comply with legal obligations; or with your consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers that support hosting, cloud infrastructure, software delivery, diagnostics, analytics, communications, support, authentication, payments, subscription management, security, fraud prevention, and professional services.

Subscriptions and payments may be offered through third-party platforms or processors, including Whop. Those providers may collect payment and identity information directly from you and provide Stellar with transaction, entitlement, dispute, refund, and subscription information. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. Stellar is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties.
8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, measure performance, understand usage, and support analytics or marketing. You can control many cookies through your browser or any cookie controls we make available. Blocking cookies may limit some features.
Stellar does not sell personal information in exchange for money. Some analytics or advertising technologies may involve disclosure of online identifiers or activity data that certain laws define as "sale," "sharing," or use for targeted advertising. Where applicable, you may opt out using available cookie controls, a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, or by contacting us.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of our relationship, legal requirements, and security needs. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information where it can no longer reasonably identify you.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, securing your device, and using appropriate safeguards when storing checkout profiles or other sensitive information locally.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. You may still receive transactional, security, billing, or service-related communications.
12. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights regarding categories of personal information collected, sources, business purposes, recipient categories, correction, deletion, access, portability, and opt-outs. The categories we may have collected during the preceding 12 months are described in Section 3; the purposes are described in Section 4; and the categories of recipients are described in Sections 6 through 8.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18.
